We are glad for the direction this project is taking, evolving and getting better day by day. Yep, we had some challenges along the way and a few things for us to reflect and improve on but we are extremely grateful for all the laughs, memories and connections we made over the past year and we can’t wait to see what the next year has in store for us. After our summer break we return at our usual spot @oculist.brighton This time we invite @sloukmusic French dj, now based in Brighton. Heavily influenced by the sound of the 80s, his musical journey began in his childhood, listening to his parents synth-pop tapes, sparking a never-ending love for the analog magic of synthesisers. Since then, he delved into the worlds of italo-disco, Hi-NRG as well as more obscure subgenres, always on the hunt for hidden gems. From his set you can expect a blend of italo, dark disco and electro! We can’t wait to have him in charge for our last party of the season. Hailing from Italy, @dot.de_ started playing at several parties locally in Europe’s boot supporting both local and international artists. He eventually moved to Germany, where he honed his sound in Berlin at the tender age of 19. In 2019 he moved to Brighton where he’s shared stages with the likes of Lamache, Quest and more. The move to the UK soon translated to his move to London, where he’s been a regular collaborator of our friends at @parloursession sessions. Having moved to London, he started his new project @reenova.music with his longtime friend Fer. His sound has been heavily influenced by his travels with clear Berlin and London influences. I must admit It’s been quite a while since I felt so excited before a gig 😎 Now it’s time to enjoy the last days of holiday 😝then in a few weeks time I’ll be flying to Italy to play for our friends of @ecotono____ , a newly born collective created by my partner in crime @_fer_it along with @mari_omart @noo_kiee @aconytich_ & @nghtly__ They are a group of likeminded people, full of energy, dedication and passion for the only thing that really matters: the music. Something that nowadays, in an era dominated by social media, trends, fakeness, popularity contests, etc is quite hard to find.
