In honour of London Design Week we are looking back at one of our most ambitious design experiments, “Second Dome”.
In 2016, Second Dome landed - an 8-metre-high inflatable pavilion that transformed in real time. Designed by Spanish architects @dosiiis , this wasn’t just a structure - it was a living, breathing space that adapted to its surroundings.
Thanks to a system of membranes and zippers, Second Dome shifted from a single bubble to multiple interconnected spaces, morphing from an intimate retreat to a sprawling event hub in minutes. With its transparent canopy, bold yellow walls, and fluid form, it blurred the boundaries between architecture, movement and interaction.
For one day only, it became a home of creative workshops, yoga sessions, and spontaneous conversations, proving that space isn’t just something you occupy - it’s something that shapes the way you think, connect and create.

The 50 homes that we have designed in El Peral, Valladolid, continue to progress. Construction keeps advancing.
Our design explores several innovation areas in order to improve the dwellers’ lives:
• All homes are single-storey row houses surrounded by gardens, creating a rich and healthy ecosystem, in which nature can flourish and develop together with the families that will inhabit the place in the near future.
• All homes are energy efficient homes that seek to minimize the environmental impact of our activities in the world.
• Each home has been adapted to the needs of each of the families that will live there. In a collaborative process with the future owners, we have incorporated into the design those aspects that they transmitted to us in order to fulfil the needs of their future home. In this way, each dwelling has been adapted to the demands of every member of the cooperative, thus resulting the project in a unified complex made up of unique individual homes.
