DOSE x Celtic Utopia 08.11.25 8pm The Kino If you’ve been paying attention you already know all about it, but in true DOSE fashion we still wanted to bring you a pretty poster in the final run up. To celebrate the Irish premiere of Celtic Utopia at the Cork International Film Festival, DOSE presents a taste of the music giving a new identity to Irish culture, language and music. Bringing the film to the stage, join us to explore the sounds of the new Celtic realm. Post-rock-jazz-trad mutations from Trá Pháidín, industrial noise from Rising Damp, experimental accordion from Seamas Hyland and globehopping club music from Little O. Live visuals by Risteárd Ó hAodha and Joseph O’Neill. The film Celtic Utopia is a portrait of Ireland’s vibrant folk music scene, carrying both the legacy of a colonial past and the dream of a bright future. Harry Hennessy, with collaborators Muireann Ní Shé and Arthur Greene, presents ‘File na Farraige’, showcasing a sound both ancient and modern, incorporating contemporary experimental techniques with Irish folklore and performance art.
