Iman Wu is a new-generation photographer from the 2000s. Previously based in Shanghai, she is now based in London, with a background in fine arts and currently pursuing a master's degree in commercial photography.
She integrates classical artistic influences into contemporary visual storytelling, combining artistic depth with commercial insight to craft a unique visual language.
Her work is deeply inspired by 1930s surrealist photography and French New Wave cinema. With a background in painting, she possesses a sharp artistic perspective that allows her to balance bold imagination with conceptual innovation in her photography.
She specializes in capturing moments where reality and absurdity intertwine, using a
visually striking and emotionally charged style to present a fresh interpretation of fashion and art from a Gen Z perspective.
Her work has been featured in Vogue, Flanellemagazine, Dazed, and other publications. She is available for editorial,
commercial, and artistic collaborations worldwide.

Croydon—once a blueprint for the future, now a city split between memory and ambition. A place where towers rose fast, but hope faded. Constant symbols of both hope and hardship. Yet its fame comes from the resilience of the people who stayed, created, rebuilt. A reminder that broken places still produce brilliance.
