Hello everyone. My EP Lapse is coming out on 29.05, and I’m excited to finally have it out in the world after a long gestation period.
I was listening to a lot of Jon Hopkins, Kiasmos, Nils Frahm and Ólafur Arnalds while making it, so if you like those artists you might find something to connect with here. The track you’re hearing is Öxarárfoss, named for the Icelandic waterfall on the cover.
These tracks began with field recordings captured in specific places and moments, and the music grew around them from there. I’ll share a bit more about each one over the next couple of weeks.
