Finally published my first newsletter of the yearā¦
āThereās something in the air that says, this can be different.
For me, this January isnāt about sprinting. Iām taking the entire Q1 to stir my plane and land softly. After five years of building Dee Topstore ( @dee_topstore ), consistency has been my muscle. Showing up daily. Posting. Shipping. Selling. Building even on days I was tired, unsure, or quietly scared. That discipline paid off. Massively. Consistency carried me through seasons where clarity hadnāt caught up yet.
But this year feels⦠different.ā¦ā

Love love love always šāØ
A birthday dinner turned therapy session turned love letter to every version of ourselves since 2016.
The night was warm⦠golden⦠almost cinematic.
And somewhere between the laughter, the chit chat and the way the lights reflected on our wine glasses,
the universe whispered,
āStay present. This is where the magic happens.ā
This year, Iām choosing presence like perfume. Something you wear, something people notice, something that lingers even after you leave the room.
And while Iām soaking in the moments as they happen, Iām still keeping the memories⦠crisp, clear, and beautiful.
If youāre doing the same, get the tools that help you capture your life beautifully on @dee_topstore and thank me lateršāØ

Mma-di-che
An Igbo phrase for āA kind of beauty that is rareā.
Thatās what my grandma always called me.
Not the kind of name you hear often.
Not the loud kind of praise.
Just something quiet, intentional, and deeply meaningful.
I loved it because it wasnāt just beautiful, it was specific.
Iād never heard it anywhere else.
It felt like something she saw only in me.
This year, in honor of her memory, I started something new. A foundation named after her.
Indigo Foundation.
A way to keep her spirit alive.
A way to turn love into legacy.
And just like she always believed, Beauty doesnāt have to be common to be powerful. šāØ

Top 5 best performing newsletters of 2025 from the stables of Doreen the founder, brand strategist, marketing enthusiast and community builder šāØ
Every Sunday for over a year, Iāve written and sent out these newsletters (love letters) where I share my inner musings from the way I see the world of business, branding and community building.
Some of the most interesting feedback I have received from my readers (you guys make me feel like a star) is that these newsletters serve as reminders that keep them going and also makes them feel seen (and thatās why I call them love letters)
Itās interesting how each newsletter idea comes to me. Most times in the shower, sometimes from an epiphany during a conversation with a friend, a few times during yoga sessions. So random to me yet so profound to my readers.
These days I see it as my divine assignment which makes me so much more intentional about what I put my name on, the energy and I am putting out, the impact I am making and the legacy I am leaving behind.
If youāre like me, enthusiastic about how to engineer human psychology, longing to create something unforgettable and find rhythm in your process, You should subscribe to these newsletters. I think youāll fall in love as well.
