A lot of new people here so wanted to reintroduce myself 👋🏼 Hi, I’m Danny. I built this studio to collaborate with people who are passionate about crafting stories that connect and inspire. Doran Visual is what I envisioned nearly 20 years ago when I was making YouTube videos and, later, my first feature, Empire: The Whitewater Story, dreaming of a space where I could partner with talented individuals to bring ideas to life. From our studio in Brooklyn, my small team and I specialize in editing, color grading, sound design, VFX, and creative consultation. But more than just providing these services, we’re focused on crafting work that leaves a lasting impact. Every project is unique, and we’re committed to bringing your vision to life. When I’m not in the studio, you’ll find me kayaking, hiking, or trail running—exploring the outdoors fuels my imagination and keeps me inspired. 10-plus years of work in 90 seconds. I’ve never actually had a formal “edit reel,” so this is the closest I’ve ever gotten. It was a fun journey to go through the archive and see what I’ve worked on over the years—sometimes even small projects leave a lasting impact on how you work. Specific shots or sound bites (looking at you, @michael.hauptman ) can linger for years. None of this was made alone. Thank you to everyone who has been a part of the journey.
