Took a few years, a few tears, to be able to take the steps I am today. The paths were winding, but I always saw myself at the end. I refuse to won’t stop. ✨

I’ve always loved rocks, but being able to study geology has really put into perspective the magic that is earth. The fact that millions and MILLIONS of years of energy and movement went into making this massive solid beings. You can’t tell me these mounds aren’t alive. The simple acts of Climbing the steep faces, slipping on the mud, gripping the jagged edges, digging into the dirt, make me appreciate its existence even more. These features are slowly eroding and over time will no longer exist. Extraordinary evidence of the preceding mountains and features that dominated our landscape. Just have to be whiling to look and listen to what the mountains have to say ✨
