Nathan “Noodles” Webster.
Former Top 44 ASP surfer, Junior World Champ and NN Hall of Famer - Noodles mixed raw competitive grit with a loose style and sharp backhand attack that fit perfectly with the mid-90s new generation.
Nathan Hedge aka Hedgy is a proper mongrel competitor - these days still pulling on the singlet for North Narrabeen Boardriders in the club challengers, with that same edge everyone knows him for. He fit into the Doop generation no worries.
Steve Clements was one of those underground Narrabeen stylists — Southy bred, Long Reef Boardriders through and through. No noise, just radical surfing that earned him a place in the Doop generation. Now with his offspring Kobi Clements coming through, you can see the same lines and looseness.
Jay Phillips was welcomed into the Doop Generation crew with open arms - one of only a select few surfers from outside Sydney’s Northern Beaches to be embraced by the cult that was. Emerging through the Cooly Kids era, Jay’s style, flow and radical manoeuvres aligned seamlessly with the raw, creative values that defined the Doop Generation.
Chris ‘Davo’ Davidson. One of the most raw and mesmerising surfers of the 90’s. Pure instinct, pure emotion…no filter, just real surfing the way it was meant to be.
Rest easy brother.
