After ~9 years (and one proposal), I’ve finally built the perfect “significant other bike.”
A new-to-us Bridgestone MB-3 step-through, with a big thanks to Alex and Bicycle Tree for somehow having the perfect frame. It’s built up with Deore XT / Araya 9-speed rim brake wheels, a Nitto stem from Outside Supply, and handlebars we picked up on our recent trip to Wood Village Cycles in Japan, with the finishing touches and accessories coming from Blue Lug Hatagaya. And honestly, the clear e*thirteen Pants Protector 3000 might be my favorite part.
From the first smile to the last, I’m just happy we get to share miles together and that you’re finally comfortable (took me long enough). Enjoy your bike my love. (:
