Last night was a dream come true. We are so grateful for this beautiful evening. There is truly no better way to start NY Fashion Week 🪄 Thank you to everyone who came to dance, drink, and meet the designers behind the brands. A special thank you to our incredible designers and artists, to @the_fleurista_ for the most stunning flowers, @thebougette for the delicious treats, @mjw_studios for his incredible painting, and last but not least the jazz band Dylan Kries Trio and @bin.bin.sake for the most amazing sake. Seven days a week, seven different moods 🪄🌸✨🌻🪩☀️✨ all wearing @la_donsk at @ouroriginalstory and my best friend our neighbors coffee @contrastonyc Monday is chaos but make it cute. Tuesday is “running errands” in silk. Wednesday is pretending I don’t own 40 jackets… while buying another one. Thursday is feeling the weekend coming. Friday is extra for Shabbat and doing my favorite thing, buying flowers. Saturday is the main character, my favorite one, just going with the flow. Sunday is undercover, because you probably danced until the morning. Honestly, depends what time you walk into the store… that’s how you’ll find me.

Seeing you, the hugs, the smiles, the way you look at me with pride, it stays with me more than you know. To anyone building something of their own, it has never been easy, but I kept going. Today marks 6 months since we opened our doors for the first time and welcomed you into this sunny home we call @ouroriginalstory . Over the past six months, I’ve met so many incredible customers, designers, brands, and people who made this place feel alive. We are so grateful to every single customer who keeps coming back, brings friends, posts about us, talks about us, and helps spread the word about Original Story. This is a home for designers and brands, a place that supports other small businesses, and for our customers, a place to discover pieces you don’t see everywhere and make real connections. I know this is only the beginning for us, and I’m so grateful for what’s next. A special thank you to the best COO I could ever ask for, @laurellad . The way we met at one of my pop ups years ago makes it all feel even more magical. I love you, thank you for believing in my vision. @tamirrivnik , thank you for always being there, building, fixing, and making this space into the most beautiful store. Do what you love, with love. When more than 3,000 people got tickets to @ouroriginalstory this weekend to a vision that once lived only in your head… This past weekend I had my biggest market yet, and I couldn’t ask for better designers, artists, and brands to do it with. The energy as you walked in felt effortless. Designers made real connections with each other and with customers. Don’t tell me an outfit is just an outfit. Two Burns ago I decided to make myself a custom peacock look, I don’t even know why, I just felt it. A peacock is bold, expressive, full of color, and I wanted to feel that. I wore it to the Burn and somehow everything aligned. Right place, right time. Dancing on the art car with my bestie, standing on the right side, in front of a Tamir, all these tiny moments that didn’t feel big then but now feel like everything. Because what if I didn’t wear that outfit, what if I didn’t go on that car, what if I stood somewhere else. The universe is kind of magical when you really think about it. That one choice, that one feeling, opened a whole story I couldn’t have planned. For me it just proves that when you create something with love, when you wear something that makes you feel confident and fully yourself, things open. Opportunities, people, moments. I love love, this is who I am, maybe it’s a little too much but I don’t even care, I love it.
