This was definitely a God moment for me and @sambymagno , and a prophecy fulfilled from @favor.conference 2025. Let me share a story: Someone prophesied over me during a ministry time around Day 2 of Favor Conference. He asked, “Do you write stories?” I was overwhelmed and scared coz I kinda knew where this was heading, since I had a ‘dead’ dream of becoming a writer before. I said “yes” while tears were already flowing down my face. At that time, I had no job and was desperately looking for guidance. I liked writing, but I didn’t see it as a living coz I don’t even know how to start writing for a living. Then comes the response. The person said, “I have a word for you. PLAYWRIGHT.” Panic, awe, and distress ruled over my entire being. I kinda want to receive it, but not since I know it’s a HEAVY BURDEN to carry, and with my current situation - married and with no stable job - I’m not sure how I can provide at all 😭 I still ended up thanking God since there was so much peace involved with the prophecy, even though I’m breaking down that night. Thank God that Day 2 was already over by then 🤣 Cut to, someone from @favor.mnl approached us to collaborate on a script for Favor Christmas Special 2025. The vision was to create a funny skit that would break the service's seriousness. I thought it was just for a film to be flashed onscreen. I said “G.” If I’m able to serve in this way, I’m willing. And I trusted God enough with the wild mind that He gave me. Then they said that we will be the ones playing the role. “Oh, okay, sure,” we said to ourselves. Then the roles were Mary and Joseph. The earthly parents of Jesus. Then we were informed that this is gonna be performed LIVE by us. The rest was an answered prayer. It was a wild journey on how we were able to finish it well — by the GRACE OF GOD indeed 😭 3 months of preparation. Only rehearsed twice. Fights happened. Fear dwelled. But God was with us along the way. Being able to perform this part in front of 10k people was wild. God is really amazing. And it all started with a prophecy. Reminding myself of why I said Yes to Jesus when He led me to do Bible college 😄 I can vividly remember how I was when I ‘accidentally’ ministered to 3 specific incidents on a Monday night until Tuesday morning for almost 12 hours, right after Favor Conference 2024 - where it’s also my first time volunteering to serve within the church for four straight days. And I thought Monday pahinga na 🤣 Sabi ko talaga, “Lord, di ko kaya yung ganito - bakit naman sabay-sabay sila?” tas I can sense my wife @sambymagno na galit na sakin kasi di ko tinabihan matulog 🤣😅 I believe it’s the Holy Spirit who revealed to me my lack of capacity (and boundaries) that I had during those moments. All I had was a Yes to Him in anything, kahit na madalas ako nag-ffail in trying to do so. Todo kanta pa nga ako sa “Send Me” by River Valley Worship. Ayun, kaka-Send Me ko, He led me to enter @favor.college Grabe din talaga si Lord when we obey His call e. The way He changed my heart during this season of denying the flesh and total surrender to His will was so radical that I fell in love with the Lord even more. The way He assured me of His provision was so crazy solid! Totoo yung “if it’s God’s will, it’s God’s bill” 😭 and possible pala yung isang tulad ko - manginginom nung college, drug user and porn addict dati, delinquent on all sides - to finish Bible college and do ministry WHILE ENJOYING IT SO MUCH 🙌 So when they tapped my wife and me to make our graduation video out of all the 3,000+ pieces of footage we have for our batch (yep, we love documenting EVERYTHING haha lezgo @fc5olid.batch ), it was like a sweet sweet reminder of God’s grace towards each of us who took THE STRETCH. And yes, we were really stretched. Lagi ko ‘tong binabalik balikan to remind myself whenever I get complacent with my walk with God. We tend to forget kasi. I hope we’ll always cherish those moments when Jesus shows up and showers us with His love and grace, especially when we feel the most unlovable and when we think all hope is lost. I just want to remind myself of His love all the time. Even this video was born out of His faithfulness. Thank you, Jesus! 🙌 #fyp #foryoupage #christian
