She's all good (parents a different story), especially without that first coffee.
Haircut for the first time in over a year, haven't change my winter tires, halfway through major work on a 80 year house. Through it all, Dad life is all that matters, the light at the end of the tunnel, restless, Happy & Content..

Deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Johnny Gaudreau and his brother. He was generous, humble, and all around good hearted to work with. Was happy to see he became a fellow dad in recent years. Thoughts & prayers to his wife, children, and family. R.I.P. 🙏

Waking up, blinking slow thoughts, your sleepy voice quietly calls out:
Lhasa: "papa....papa..."
Me: "Yes sweetheart"
Lhasa: "papa, I'm...happy"
Me: pause...."hmmm...what was that baby?"
Lhasa: "I'm happy papa"
Me: longer pause....... "you're happy?"
Lhasa: "yes papa, I'm happy!"
Me: ".......Me too, papa's happy, mommy's happy, together we're all happy."
Lhasa: "yes together we're all happy!"
I was on a cloud all week. With gratitude I recall these moments often but especially appreciated during periods of sadness & grief. Send love & warmth to those no longer with us and us here left behind.💛💛 #samsara
