I was fortunate enough to have had the best seat in the house to watch the Beyond Monumental Marathon on Saturday morning. I came to the realization this weekend that Iād actually never seen a Marathon like this in person and had no grasp on the actual scale of these events.
Pretty cool to see this many people come together in a joined effort to challenge their mental and physical limits like this. Running has never really been my thing, and I donāt know that it ever will be outside of competing in other sports; but dope nonetheless to see the community come together in ways like this.

I think we all can agree, that was pretty badass to see a Solar Eclipse from the totality line.
Considering itās the type of thing you really only get one shot at capturing, Iām happy with how this day to night hyperlapse of the totality window turned out.
Hope everybody in Indy got a chance to step out and experience it!

In 49 states itās just basketballā¦
Week āanniversaryā since Final Four weekend in Indianapolis. If you didnāt find the time to make it downtown, itās your loss. 150,000 people, palpable energy, and a city thatās quickly becoming a bigger hub not just for sports, but culture as well.
Spent a lot of time on the streets with colleagues and friends capturing content for organizations in the city, and felt a sense of creative rejuvenation I havenāt felt in some time. Shouts to @mikelee_productions , Indy Arts Council and S/O to @domsdigitals for helping collaborate on this one.
Two years ago this week, Indy got a chance to experience a total solar eclipse. Something that Indianapolis isnāt expected to see again until 2153 from the predictions Iāve read.
Honestly I almost didnāt even go out that day to shoot it because I thought it was going to be overhyped. Feels crazy looking back now.
Itās one of my favorite shots in my portfolio and it almost didnāt happen. Maybe a lesson in there somewhere.
