My latest work reimagines the social and political legacy of Toussaint Louverture. Despite being a pivotal figure, his story is often overshadowed in the Western canon, while his French contemporaries, especially Napoleon, dominate the historical narrative.
In my performative multi-media creation, I present three characters’ perspectives on Louverture; their vignettes weave a political narrative that bridges the past to the present. Through narration, I emphasize the significant achievements of Haitians and formerly enslaved Americans, aligning my own heritage with the characters.
This piece challenges the commodification of Haitian and Black spiritual frameworks. Through my creation of digital veves, intricate symbols in Vodou, I aim to demystify these cultural elements and spiritual practices. On my digital canvas, I integrate writing, voice, digital painting, and political history.

I scanned 21 of my favorite pages from one of my sketchbooks from 2025 and turned it into a collection called "torpor of an undead yes-man".
Some of these sketches were done at Maryland Governor Wes Moore's mansion (impressive yes wow).

The Drama (2026) is a romantic comedy film written and directed by @kristogger . It stars Zendaya and Robert Pattinson. I just sat for five minutes staring out into the distance while sipping on my latte, and was unable to come up with a clever way to subvert the concept of a “movie review” or a “review” of anything. I spent 2 minutes thinking about why I should or shouldn’t revive my old “review” series, Dom Digs, and decided not to because I feel a strong distance from my 28 year old self today.
