A little over two months ago, I realized I had a serious problem. I was abusing alcohol and other substances on a daily basis. It started affecting my life, my peace, and most importantly my relationships with the people I love most.
I made the decision to enroll myself in an IOP (Intensive Outpatient Program), and it was one of the best decisions Iāve ever made. It helped me realize that the life I was living wasnāt the best for my familyāor for myself.
Iām sharing this in hopes that it helps someone else who may be struggling. Itās okay to want better for yourself. Itās okay to admit youāre struggling. itās never too late to change!
