Five buildings. 160 weeks. Domis Construction’s largest project to date. Waterhouse Gardens is complete. Delivered in partnership with Salboy, this landmark scheme has transformed the former Boddingtons Brewery site into a new Manchester neighbourhood, bringing together homes, amenity, commercial space and public realm on a major city centre regeneration site. A huge collective achievement for Domis Construction and The Domis Group.

The Waterhouse Club was one of the first parts of the scheme to come to life. Now complete, it sits at the heart of Waterhouse Gardens, giving residents a place to train, relax, work, meet and spend time together. A huge part of what makes this development feel like a neighbourhood, not just a place to live.

After laying over 1 million bricks, the facade at Waterhouse Gardens has been a major part of the project’s transformation, turning a long underused gateway site into a confident new presence on Great Ducie Street. A striking final chapter for a build that has reshaped this part of the city.

Waterhouse Gardens has taken on a new character after dark. What was once a construction site is now an illuminated, lived in neighbourhood, adding a new presence to Great Ducie Street and Manchester’s northern gateway. A powerful reminder of how far the project has come.

The external areas have been key to the final feel of Waterhouse Gardens. The new avenue, landscaped spaces and ground floor connections help bring the scheme together, turning five buildings into one complete neighbourhood. A finished environment designed for residents, visitors and future commercial life.

Fusion Manchester’s premium student rooms are complete! 27 floors and 509 rooms later, our Casana team on the ground have completed full fit-out and joinery of Fusion’s premium student rooms. Leading Casana efforts on site, Lee Kilcullen, Fit-out Manager, reflected on the journey to completion: “Leading the joinery fit-out across all 27 floors at Fusion Manchester has been a proud moment. As Casana’s first PBSA project, it’s been great to help deliver high-quality, functional student rooms for one of the UK’s biggest student cities. It’s a milestone the whole team can be proud of.” With full Fusion focus now on amenities, it’s a final countdown to completion for Casana and our #Domis Group partners. 📸 @thisisourmanchester

Cores up at Leeds Urban Village! The #Domis team on the ground is making serious progress on the ground, propelling Leeds’ newest residential village forwards and upwards. Block 3 is powering ahead with Core 1 now at Level 10 and Core 2 reaching Level 11. Basement slabs are around 50% complete, with preparation underway for the remaining pours, while retaining walls to the north elevation continue to progress. We’re concreting columns from basement up to ground floor, and decking is now underway for the ground floor slab as the structure comes up to street level. With two tower cranes in operation and foul drainage works progressing to support the new access road, the pace on site is only increasing.
