Throw back to April 8th because I’m still glowing from this night! 🥂✨ We were there to celebrate the amazing Cecil Hammond’s 50th with my Soul sister @kekehammond —such a wholesome, trans-generational party reuniting with everyone from primary to uni.
My bestie @dupetasala and I were giving pure main character energy all night. Even though we had the best time in Portugal last year, this was just... exceptional.
It was that unfiltered, playful, serious, "time of our lives" kind of energy that we haven't tapped into like this since our university days. Husbands were there, but we were definitely in our own world! 👯♀️

A Gashuku is a training camp where Karatekas go to build their minds by pushing the limits of their bodies.
We had one in Ghana a few weeks ago.
How did it go?
Let me put it this way — you’ll notice there are no clips from our return to Nigeria. That’s because it’s hard to press “record” when every part of your body is screaming in pain.
So… yes. A proper Gashuku was had.
And somehow, we’re already looking forward to the next one.

After days of discipline, sweat, and growth, we took a breath to enjoy the beauty of Independence Square.
