Turning 26 today. I’ve been trying for a while to capture a flock of birds in a drawing. We’re not quite there yet.
The phase transition is the point when a group of starlings become a murmuration and move as one. They each follow the 7 birds around them, rather than thinking about the murmuration as a whole. I think humans would do better if we could do this. I just want to make things I think are beautiful and have my 7 closest friends agree.
