Ladies and gentlemen, we are hosting a benefits concert in Severna Park for families in Gaza. I’m going to speak candidly for a moment, if I may. I am disgusted. I wake up every day to witness my taxpayer dollars go towards a genocide, the deliberate erasure of Palestinian people. I look outside my window here in Baltimore and I see sick people lying face down in the street from drugs. I see an education system that has failed its populace. The government is apathetic. Only money for bombs. Only money for genocide. Only money for pain. This is an affront to humanity. A disgusting display of barbarism.
