Coming into this pageant nothing came natural, I knew i'd have to work at everything to be decent at anything. Every phase of pageantry was completely out of my comfort zone yet through it all I remained steadfast in hopes of being able to serve this amazing chapter. Thank you God.
To the Ladies of the Eta Kappa Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Incorporated. Thank you. It means the WORLD to me to be able to represent women who are the best in the WORLD. The title of Mr. Crimson and Cream is not something I take lightly, how could I when the standard is you all ? I hope my gratitude permeates through the work I will do for this chapter.
To my Pageant Directors, Committee, and Advisors: it wasn't easy having to see me dance those first few practices i'm sure, i'm glad I was able to find the bit of rhythm i was born with 😂. In all seriousness I appreciate the unwavering commitment to making sure I saw it through. I told myself when applying that all I needed was the chance, I'm happy to see how far that chance took me.
To my brothers: I love y'all boys man. There isn't a single group of guys that I'd rather have done this with. The 9 of us came a long way from day 1 and the memories I will cherish for life. Love.
To my family: You all showed up and showed out. I appreciate the support it never goes unnoticed. MY REASONS, i'm glad I was able to show you both the affection you deserve. My mom always told me that when I left the house I was a representation of her and our family. I hope I represented well.
