Era il 21 marzo 1950 quando nonno Pierluigi si recò alla Camera di Commercio di Venezia per depositare il nome Dogal Corde Armoniche, aprire la partita IVA e dare inizio a una storia che, oggi, dopo 75 anni, continua più forte che mai. Auguri a noi, dunque! Con umiltà, ma anche con la consapevolezza che solo le cose belle possono durare nel tempo. 75 anni di innovazione, di passione, di dedizione. E la nostra voglia di stupire e supportare i musicisti di ogni età e da ogni parte del mondo è rimasta immutata! Some of the nicest flat wound bass strings available. @dogalstrings R44 1959 Vintage Flats. The Dogal Traditional Flatwound set has been in production since 1959. Its steel round core is wrapped with copper and a layer of iron and chrome. The use of copper – which affects the string’s magnetic field – results in a distinctive ‘round and warm’ timbre. Each individual string is treated by hand to achieve the smoothest and most even surface in order to increase playability and longevity. The use of high quality magnetic components and traditional hand-made manufacturing techniques make these strings soft and perfectly smooth, ideal for the typical tones of the ’60s and ’70s.
