#squirrelgate Suffice to say, David Attenborough’s job is safe. All of the details leading up to Dr Dolittle’s chat with the animals over on stories. I did either call or contact everyone I could but it’s a grey squirrel and as an invasive species, there’s nothing anyone can do bar euthanise it. The vet suggested water and nuts in case it needed energy to get back to where it came from. It doesn’t seem hurt, it can still move DAMN fast 😳 and can run like Usain Bolt round the garden. BUT it does keep trying to get in. It also ate NONE of my nuts but did enjoy the water (more details on stories and highlights)
And.. apologies for swearing but it was preferable to an actual heart attack. 🙈🙈🙈

The most wonderful 24 hrs at @marquis.suffolk@marquis.spa Genuinely one of the best spas I’ve been to in England and a wonderful hotel to boot. I booked an afternoon spa experience (you get a treatment - chose an @oskiaskincare massage) and either afternoon tea or a voucher towards dinner. The service is incredible, food is lovely and this was a suite that I booked (I think all the suites are the same but you can request one - this was Cornwallis and people did say to me that this was their favourite) It’s honestly a complete GEM of a property. I can’t recommend it highly enough. On the Essex/Suffolk border so not too far from London!
Holidaying in dog years - 1 night away feels like an old school long weekend 🤣 Any questions just yell!!

Does this work? Curly hair routine using some new products and some old and loved. DISCLAIMER - as anyone with curly hair knows. You can use exactly the same products and get a completely different result the next time you use them. Why? Who the hell knows 🤷♀️ If someone does, if they could let us know?!
I would give this selection used together a 6/10 - not as good as last week but I’m going to try what I used last week and see if it was just a fluke 🤣
Two current favourite products are definitely @livingproofuk Curl Defining Cream and @arkiveheadcare@adamreedhair Mousse. (Used them last week as well and 👍)
This week also used @miriamscollectionuk Rice shampoo and conditioner (pr sample/ad) and @arkiveheadcare leave in conditioner
Also used my @sharkbeautyuk diffuser but 🙌🙌🙌🙌 to @marquis.suffolk as they have a diffuser IN THE ROOM!! (As in hairdryer diffuser not the reed smelly thing)
Let the staycation begin! Trying to get away for a four day break in the end was more trouble and more ££ than it was worth SO exploring what’s on the doorstep. LOVED @kingsheadyoxford (sister to the Poacher and the Fox in Darsham) and SUPERN GF options (these aren’t all GF but they do pizza and burger buns) And obligatory trip to Snape to the Antiques centre - a) does anyone remember the Armadillo Breadbin and b) what is the last thing.. scroll to see - can you guess?
