A few kind words from last weekend’s couple. “Stacey and I cannot thank you and your team enough for the incredible food and service you all provided. We honestly couldn’t believe the attention to detail we received, from finding us during the photo shoot, the table settings and service, to the treats left in our room. You all went above and beyond and it made the night just that little bit more special. All our guests have said the quality of the food was unbelievable and it’s the best food they have ever had at a wedding.” We’re grateful to have been part of such a special day. With a career shaped by a deep respect for produce, people & honest cooking, Billy brings a wealth of experience, creativity & passion to the Prairie Kitchen. His approach is grounded, generous & thoughtful - food that tells a story & brings people together around the table. With a bit of Flinders dust now in his blood, Billy is excited to build menus that honour the Prairie way: bold flavours, local inspiration & dishes designed to be remembered long after the plates are cleared. Welcome aboard, Chef - we couldn’t be more excited to have you leading the kitchen into our next chapter!

Jaimie and Michael’s day was totally them. From walking down the aisle together, incorporating their beautiful dog Nina, tying the knot in the park across the road from a house full of memories and milestones to using an unconventional venue for their reception and having a banging good dance floor! Not to mention the exceptional wine selected by Michael for the evening! Their day spoke wonders about who they are, where they’ve been and where they are going. You could feel the love in the air, and it was the best. I can’t control the weather, but I can control how we roll with it, and the key is to not stress, because you can’t control it either! The rain was POURING with 10 minutes to go before their outdoor ceremony, but the clouds parted, the rain eased and we only has a slight occasional drizzle through the ceremony. The couple, wedding party and guests were all troopers, and we even had an appearance from a full beach umbrella that was the only umbrella available at the guests accommodation – it was a vibe! And rain on your wedding day often leads to an epic sunset, and we even had a double rainbow at golden hour – utter perfection! Plus delivering @portelliotbakery donuts to the dancefloor wasn't bad either! Jaimie and Michael, thank you so much for entrusting your day to me, it was an absolute pleasure, even if Michael couldn’t switch off during the reception and enjoy himself!
