We are very proud to share with you the result of our exciting collaboration with @elledecoration_nl . During this photoshoot we focused on personalising interiors with art and collectible design in a festive theme.
Together with our design partners and artists, we created a photoshoot full of curiosities, which resulted in a cover and two international publications.
This week, we’re hosting a launch event with ELLE Decoration at DOEN, where we’ll also unveil our new exhibition, House Party. This exhibition reflects our philosophy of emphasizing art and collectible design in your own interior.

Featuring Marcos Kueh’s work - his woven artistry draws the eye with its rich textures and storytelling. His colorful textile pieces explore themes of identity, heritage, and the colonial past of his homeland, interwoven with folklore and mythology.
The exhibited work in the photo has found a new home, but two more of his pieces remain on display.

We proudly present the solo exhibition of Geke Schalkwijk in our gallery.
Geke works with everyday objects and symbols of our time, altering and recontextualizing them to question the norms and values we often take for granted. His work reveals the subtle absurdity of the “modern” Western world and invites reflection on the culture we collectively create.

February 12, the time has finally come: my very first solo exhibition “STUFF STUFF STUFF” opens at @doen.do

We have reached a point where everything in our living environment is constructed, not only in terms of materials, but also our needs, desires, and rituals.
In my work, I explore the malleability of our world. The exhibition presents artworks based on existing objects and symbols from our Western, “modern” society. Upon closer inspection, however, it becomes clear that these works did not simply roll off a factory assembly line.
Through alterations and shifts in form and context, I reveal the absurdity often hidden behind the façades of everyday things. What initially appears familiar takes on new meaning. What do these objects say about the systems we collectively tolerate and the world we have created?
