On what would have been Queen Elizabeth II’s 100th birthday, I was invited to the British Museum for the unveiling of her memorial plans, alongside the King and Queen.
I’d been asked to advise on the digital experience.
The challenge: she meant something different to every person she touched, across generations and across the world. No single sculpture or portrait could hold all of that.
So I suggested opening it up. Let people everywhere contribute their own memories of her, in their own words, so the memorial becomes something living, shaped by the people whose lives she was part of.
That idea was taken forward and presented to the King and Queen as part of the plans.
A genuine honour to play a small part in this
I’ve been doing this since I was a teenager, and the goal hasn’t changed. If you’re having a rough day and something I made you smile. That’s everything to me. That’s the job 💜
Yesterday I visited the amazing @artsforalluk charity and lead a workshop for the kids at one of the many brilliant after school programmes they run.
I brought Imaginarium along with me. An interactive artwork that instantly brings your imagination to life.
The kids coloured in their giraffes, took a photo and watched on as they saw their creations come to life inside the World of Wonder.
Huge thank you to the team for having us and for all of the wonderful work they do for the community 💜🦒
The Colour of Conversation
The work is influenced by on the conversation around it so as the speakers delivered their talks The Colour of Conversation takes into account topic, emotion, tone, openness, delivery amungst others to drive the which colours are selected, the number of colours, speed, frequency, grain etc.
This new art installation got its first public appearance at the fantastic WXO - London Experience week at the amazing Ministry of Sound venue a few weeks back.
Current conversations around future installations are around brand events, corporate lobbies and public spaces. Where would you like to see it? I’d like to put one in a sauna because I think that’s where interesting conversations happen haha

There’s such high demand from the public for interactive experiences, for rest bite from daily pressures, for opportunities to escape and create new happy memories with loved ones. It so exciting to see that what we’re building is providing those opportunities at such a large scale.
It’s been a mad few final days putting together the finishing touches to the art I’m going to be showing a select few tomorrow evening at a private event.
Here’s a glimpse of behind the scenes for the studio evening plus some BTS at London Experience Week where a Colour Of Conversation installation was on display throughout the week, more on that soon.
