A few reasons that you might want to come.
Because nothing says send it like organizational governance
Behind every great group ride is a slightly unhinged meeting that made it possible.
If you have ever thought, “Someone should do something,” this is the part where you become someone.
You can help shape the future while sitting in a chair, which is frankly much easier than digging.
You can make bets on how long Ben Hansen can go without interrupting someone during the position reports.
I'm not gonna lie. This was a perfect day in the forest. Thank you to everyone who came out to Gordo and @gheugene the perfect end to a day of hard work. Having walked that road a couple times, I'm starting to think that this whole thing is a conspiracy from e-bike companies. That Pivot Ampd and Trek rail are looking more and more tempting...

Drop whatever you think you're doing and come dig with us at Thurston.
Our after dig lunch got a huge upgrade. Instead of hot dogs, Great Harvest Bakery is hooking us up with sandwiches and cookies. And we have a big pack of rap snacks. We will bring back the hotdogs next time, but it's rad to have community partners help us out with stuff. Come dig with us!!
Wear closed toed shoes and bring appropriate clothes. Meet at 930am at Thurston trailhead.
Tomorrow we're working with the US forest service to clear trails out of the Hardesty portal. As of today Disciples of Dirt is officially rebranding and refocusing our core mission. We are now Disciples of Dressage. Our focus in the past was on mountain biking and shared trail access for MTB riders but now given our huge success with our trail systems and land managers , we want to shake things up and focus on horse back riding.
Also Happy April 1st!
And we love horses and the riders too.
