Second half of tour. Here are some things I saw and/or ate. It was great ripping the bass for @oceanatorband and hanging with @waronwomen . My finger is healing great thanks to their strange egg gift.
*First half of Tour dump* Tour has been good so far. I don’t take many photos so use your imagination to fill in the gaps. It’s been fun supporting and getting to know @waronwomen after doing sound for them once 8ish years ago. I like to play the bass, feels good to be back. Donuts are also good. Yum yum yum, bass bass bass.

Just bought an Alesis electric drum kit online and it’s revolutionizing my pre-pro/demo situation. I’m not really a drummer, but I can play well enough to easily edit the MIDI data afterwards to make it sound solid.
This is an iPhone demo that @j_q_castro@phillyspecter and I did at rehearsal that I mapped a click to, then I played a pass on the electronic drum kit and tightened it up based on that grid. This is just the bare bones for now, but keep an eye out for a Horse Hat record in the future!
We’re in the middle of a nightmare right now so I decided to clear my head by sitting down to finally figure out one of the best bass lines of all time. Chuck Rainey’s bass line on “Peg” by Steely Dan is forcing me to dust off the slap bass cobwebs and feel good for a minute. That’s my feel good face.

Had a great time orbiting, festering, and signals midwestering with my dudes at @thefestfl this weekend. Was not happy about the #cigarettesoup that Max and @oldjonhernandez ordered at the airport but @looseyspub gave me the second funniest number for my order earlier that day so all is well.
