We titled this set as the “Explorers” line—inspired by scout/exploration culture. Taking notes from workwear and city living.

Break TO brought us on to develop the visual identity for a Breaking battle held at Scarborough Town Centre (STC)—an event that coincided with a soft rebrand of their company. Working closely with the team, we landed on a direction that balanced clean, bold design with a playful edge, aligning with their evolving brand.
The event featured a 2vs2 Breaking battle in an elimination-style format. Our work spanned multiple touchpoints: from designing print collateral such as standing banners, vinyl floor decals, and custom plaques, to producing OOH digital ads displayed throughout the venue. We also created a suite of social media assets to support the promotional rollout ahead of the event.
On the day of, we captured both photography and video content—producing a dynamic recap video and a photo gallery that documented the energy, talent, and community at the heart of the event.

The cypher is where it all happens—raw energy, community, and years of practice coming to life.
This new concept design captures that essence. The ellipses reflect the movement and chaos of a real cypher—unpredictable and full of life. The sharp lines shooting outward nod to the spotlight moments, when everything centers on the dancer. The distorted wordmark? That’s the warped sense of time you feel when you’re in it—lost in the round, in the rhythm.
It’s more than a design—it’s a visual tribute to the soul of breaking.
