Last night in Chicago, I got to see one of my favorite people of all time. This is Doc. Doc is a Chicagoan, a photographer, a music journalist, an avid supporter of independent artists, and the cohost of the podcast we do together. Doc is a real one. Few people in this world are actually about the things they talk about. Doc is genuine, kind, and welcoming to everyone he meets. If you’re a music fan at all, this guy will talk to you for hours, and be unwaveringly interested in what you listen too. They don’t make em like Doc anymore. @doc_disc
Always a great night when I get to hang out with @thedrowns and my @dollarbinpodcast partner @revdrowns they killed it last night @reggieslive what a great venue and an amazing show. The new songs sound great. Can’t wait for the new album to drop.
I don’t usually listen to jazz, but when I do…. Man I love a radio only promo copy. Thanks @sirenrecordsmchenry for this gem. And the vinyl is very tasty. I imagine the radio station did not play this too often. How many stations played 20+ minute songs?
One of my favorite bands when I was living in Houston growing up was the Big Boys. Such an iconic logo and loved their music. Thanks @strangeclubrecordsofficial for putting these back out into the wild! Gone way too soon but not forgotten.
I don’t know@if the deal is still available from @strangeclubrecordsofficial but what a deal and they sent me bonus stickers. 5 limited color records for $60.00. Know what I’ll playing tomorrow. Going to start bright and early with the comp.
