LONGWINDED LIFE UPDATE INCOMING! As many of you know, I've recently undergone surgery on each of my wrists. About 6 years ago I sustained a permanent injury in each wrist making it almost impossible to play guitar anymore. This put an immediate stop on any writing, recording or touring. Instead of giving up, I tried whatever I could to get back into it - physical therapy, steroid injections, working more heavily with producers and other musicians and even trying my hand at electronic music. Eventually, I worked my way up to being able to play electric guitar only, but even this was very limited and still quite painful, often requiring me to take months long breaks from playing and causing many frustrating cancelations. Despite all of this I was able to go on my first tour in years last summer. I was amazed and heartwarmed at how many people came out and still supported me. While the tour was genuinely revitalizing for me, by the end of it, it became clear to me that I was going to have to take more drastic measures if I wanted to get back to doing what I love with any real consistency. The only viable option left at this point was to get surgery. So here I am. I'm not sure exactly how long it will take to recover, nor do I know just how much ability I will get back. There's no real guarantees. Regardless, I am determined and hopeful that this will be worth it. I am so so so endlessly grateful to my friends and family and everyone who has stuck with me despite the years of relative silence. I couldn't do this without your love and support ❤️Writing and performing has long been my life's purpose and I am eager to get back fulfilling this purpose ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

What a truly amazing little tour @teriquinn@randohambright and I just got back from ❤️ After so many years away I had fairly low expectations, but this trip blew my expectations out of the water! I am beyond garetful for the amazing friends I have around the country! Your love and support has reinvigorated me to keep at it for the foreseeable future ❤️❤️❤️ Getting to know Teri and Landon better was also a joy, and I am thankful to now include them among the many dear friends I cherish so greatly. My only real regret was that I didn't take more selfies with everyone! Next time!

September 1st - I'm here to announce this show that's being hosted at @oredockbrewing with two songwriters from Kansas City, Missouri. @dobywatson and I crossed paths about half a lifetime ago and I'm happy to say we both still have irons in the musical fire. As many of you already know, @teriquinn and I are going on a little midwest tour! My first time on the road since 2018! Honored to be joined by someone as talented as Teri. We'll have individual fliers and details for each show in the coming weeks. We've been lucky enough to get put on bills at badass venues with some of the best of the best from each city and I'm equally excited to share/brag about all the folks we get to see on the road ❤️ It's been too damn long!
