If you told 2016 me that Doable You would grow into *all of this* in 10 years, I wouldn’t have believed you. Not one word.
Going through a decade of photos (that I clearly never post 😂) brought me to tears. It forced me to pause and truly reflect on the journey and the grooooowth.
• From a one-woman show to a consistent event crew—with scheduling tools and payroll.
• From cramming installs into my Jeep, to renting U-Hauls weekly, to owning two commercial vehicles.
• From working all over my apartment, balcony, backyard, garage and house… to renting someone’s garage, a storage unit, a warehouse… to owning a commercial property.
• From showing up in “whatever” to all black everything, to branded gloves, vests, shirts and comfy leggings 😍
Do it scared.
Do it with side-eyes and doubtful comments.
Do it as the minority in the industry.
Just. Do. It.

I could not have done any of this without my strong, loving, encouraging village—my husband, dad, mom, family, friends, sorority sisters, friendors, event crew, and loyal repeat clients. Top tier. I’m still in awe of the rooms I’ve been in and the clients I’ve served… 99.9% word of mouth. Thank YOU.

Feb 2026 marks 10 years in business! I've scraped and crawled at times, had incredible highs and firsts, and am just forever grateful for the opportunity to create, dream, and reimagine each day.

This was such a fun project and we can’t wait to see the award winning projects produced from the talented students and faculty!

Whew Chile! I supported 8 events July 10th-19th. I was running on fumes most days and MISSED my family, but I made it.
A. I am GRATEFUL for these opportunities. Liiiike big or small, my hands created for @broccolicity ... MLS All-Star Weekend @dcunited ... and @tmcf_hbcu WOW
B. My village is the TRUTH! I don't post like I should, but my name is mentioned in ROOMS ok!? 90% of my clients are recommended to me by a beautiful, amazing person who thought to share my lil ole business. It really blows my mind. THANK YOU!!
C. I'm definitely growing and building a team, but I'm still the designer, admin, carpenter, inventory manager, driver, lead on-site, content creator (help!), etc. My reply time to emails has been slow. What you think are "little changes" impact my schedule in a major way, but I'm doing my best. Thank you for your patience!
D. My July grind week was nuts! Be kind to your vendors. Be kind PERIOD. You never know what someone has been through or sacrificed to make something happen for you. There were last minute additions, unclear set and strike times, heavy rain, unplanned changes, set this up but move your truck before you finish/find street parking during rush hour, annnnnnd my tried and true set/strike team was out of town on a travel gig 😮💨 so I was coaching new people under pressure. Tough, but we powered through it all.
Overall I'm GRATEFUL, BLESSED, and giving myself and everyone around me alllll the grace. Thanks for tuning in and cheering me on!
