This Memorial Day weekend, May 22nd–24th, 2026, the rolling hills of West Austin will transform into a breezy Mediterranean escape featuring the 7th Annual Austin Greek Festival (@austingreekfestival ) hosted by Transfiguration Greek Orthodox Church.
Take in some of the most spectacular views of the Austin Hill Country while enjoying a selection of delectable Greek menu options including Lamb, Gyros, Souvlaki, Spanakopita, Baklava, Loukoumades (Greek donuts), Greek coffee, beer and wine, and much more 🍷
A live band from Greece will serve as the backdrop for professional dance troupes and local performers from the Transfiguration community. PLUS: Take a guided interactive church tour!

✈️ ATX To The Cayman Islands - New Nonstop Flights! ☀️
We know a good getaway when we see one 👀
Beginning in May, Cayman Airways, the national airline of the Cayman Islands, is launching a new nonstop summer route from Austin to Grand Cayman. So what used to be a full travel day with multiple connections is now a simple departure out of AUS and straight into vaCay mode!
To celebrate the new route, Cayman Airways and the Cayman Islands Department of Tourism are also launching the “512 to 345 Ticket Drop,” a series of limited weekly ticket releases designed specifically for Austin travelers. During each drop, travelers who book early may unlock a complimentary round-trip ticket for a plus-one, so you can have a travel buddy 😎
The drops happen at 5:12 p.m. CT (duh) each week through June 2nd! This gives Austinites a set time to check availability and book before tickets run out.
