Recent work for @jolieskinco — They came to me with an idea: you know how people write “wash me” on dirty cars? Well, their idea was that, with a phrase about dirty water, and they wanted to put it on all sides of a fleet of 25-foot trucks driving around downtown Manhattan.
I tried a few approaches; stock photos with my handwriting photoshopped in, AI-generated dirt, even vector dirt textures that could scale big.. but none of them felt quite visually arresting. I told them we should do this from scratch, did they have a budget for me to go to Home Depot. They said yes, and this is what ensued.
The final file was ~45,000 pixels at 150 DPI. They were stoked, the truck people were stoked, and I was stoked. Keep an eye out for them if you’re in the city! They’ll be driving around for a couple months.
Thanks to Jolie for such a fun challenge!
Austin gets up at 6am every morning to run and it shows. Photos made during a @goodpainathletics track workout. Part of a larger tour of Austin with the founders of Urban Iron and Forte. Swipe to the end for the team pics. And yes, I did hop in for some of these 400s.

I snuck up to Vermont last week and filmed myself on a little leaf peeping adventure. Not fast-paced content, watch it when you have a few minutes. Or don’t. If you’re reading this, I hope you can make some time to get outside and enjoy the changing seasons! My favorite time of year.
