Lainey Weber was one of 200 students nominated to participate in the @NCTEgram Promising Young Writers Contest! ✍️
For her submission, Lainey wrote an essay inspired by civil rights leader and Congressman John Lewis’s call to stand up against injustice. Her writing explored what it means to speak out courageously, take action, and create positive change within a community.
Lainey’s essay earned recognition in the contest’s “Superior” category, one of the program’s four highest distinctions. Congratulations on this outstanding accomplishment, Lainey! 👏
