Stale fries/Tainted
Stale fries is a personal project exploring the experience of being mixed heritage.
The experience of being told you’re neither ‘both’ or ‘either’. The stale fries represent how this dialogue has gone on for generations, as the conversation runs stale, so do the fries.
This fashion film explores the lived experience of belonging, alienation, othering and passing, created as a personal narrative for Micheal and Dnee.
