Advocacy Alert!
The Downtown Neighborhood Association submitted a PIAC (Public Improvements Advisory Committee) request for traffic calming on Wyandotte Street. It is moving forward, and the city is holding a community open-house meeting.
This meeting will be held Thursday, April 16, 2026 from 5:30 - 7:00 PM at River Bluff Brewing (201 Main Street, Suite 101).
This event will provide residents with an opportunity to provide comment on the proposed design and give feedback on several options for concrete elements along the corridor. Stop by the meeting to learn more, show your support, and get your questions answered!

Today, two DNA board members walked Grand Boulevard with Councilman Crispin Rea and city leadership. We saw many opportunities for improvement, and coordinated with the directors of those city departments.
Lots of work to come, it was great to get out on the sidewalks with our city leaders.

LOCATION CHANGED DUE TO WEATHER
Unfortunately we need to change the location. The Seiden’s Fur building doesn’t yet have the heating to withstand the bitter cold that’s coming our way. We’ll get a tour of the Fur building set up for another time.
We’ll have the party on Tuesday evening at the Potato Supply Company building in the River Market (104 Walnut). See you there!
