This past week at the Hilton in Aventura, members of Hatzalah South Florida were honored by the Chamber of Commerce for going above and beyond in service to our community—responding to nearly 500 emergency calls in 2025.
We also recognize three outstanding community leaders— Daniel Naim, Daniel Diesendruck, and Commissioner Linda Marks—who were honored for their unwavering support and dedication to Hatzalah South Florida.

Five Great Lessons my dad Left Engraved in Our Hearts ❤️
1️⃣ Gratitude is the secret to happiness 🙏
In the prologue of the book he spent years writing — “The Irpinia,” named after the ship that brought him to Venezuela — he began by saying:
“I decided to tell my life story from the balcony of gratitude.”
For him, gratitude was a form of wisdom. He taught us that the greatest miracle isn’t what one achieves, but realizing how blessed one already is.
2️⃣ Humor is a form of faith 😂✨
Even while sick, he never stopped joking. During a Rosh Hashanah dinner photo, he said it was “The Last Supper” — and laughed. Humor was his way of telling God: “I still trust You — even in this.”
He showed us that laughter doesn’t disrespect life — it honors it.
3️⃣ Curiosity is eternal youth 🧠🚀
He never stopped learning — from history and technology to music and airplanes. At 85, he still asked, “So, how does this work?”
That’s why his mind stayed young. Never stop learning — there’s always a better way to do things. 📚
4️⃣ Family is the real success 👨👩👧👦💞
He reminded us that titles, business, or money mean nothing if you have no one to share them with. His greatest pride wasn’t his achievements — it was his children, grandchildren, and legacy of love.
He was the joyful, steady captain of our family ship. ⚓️
5️⃣ Life itself is a miracle 🌈🌍
In his book, he wrote: “The greatest fortune in life is life itself.”
And he lived it — surviving a bomb as a baby, multiple plane accidents, five cancers, and still defying every medical prediction to gift us more weeks filled with love, laughter, and faith. 🌟
Forever grateful for the lessons of a giant soul. 🤍

In July 2007, I opened the doors to Naim Development.
Back then, I was working on small projects — but I added “Development” to the name because from day one, I was aiming high.
Today, we celebrate 18 years.
In Hebrew, 18 symbolizes chai (חי) — life.
And that’s exactly what this journey has been:
A journey of life, growth, resilience, and creation.
Each project, each challenge, each success has been a brick in the story we’ve been blessed to build.
I’ve learned, I’ve stumbled, I’ve pushed, and I’ve always held to one truth:

🔥🎹 Plot twist: I secretly requested Great Balls of Fire at a dueling piano bar in Charleston… and I put Jonathan’s name on it.
He had no idea.
Suddenly, they called his name to the stage… and without missing a beat, he crushed it. Full crowd. Full spotlight. Full rockstar mode.
By the end, the entire bar was chanting Jonathan! Jonathan! — like he just headlined his first world tour.
