Support Jules and Darren on Their Journey to the 2026 IFMA World Championships in Malaysia!
/f/jules-and-darren-2026-ifma-worlds
Hi everyone, we’re Jules and Darren of Diamond Muay Thai, and we’re proud to be heading to Malaysia this June to represent Canada at the 2026 IFMA World Championships.
We’ve both dedicated years to Muay Thai, putting in countless hours of training, sacrifice, discipline, and heart to compete at the highest level. This opportunity means the world to us: a chance to test ourselves against some of the best athletes in the world and proudly represent our country on the international stage.
Competing at this level comes with significant costs, including flights, accommodations, competition fees, training expenses, and travel-related costs. As athletes, we put everything into our preparation, but we need support to help make this journey possible.
Every donation, big or small, brings us one step closer to stepping into the ring in Malaysia and giving everything we have for Canada. If you’re unable to donate, sharing this page would mean so much to us.
Thank you for believing in us and supporting our journey. Let’s bring home gold! 🥇🇨🇦🥊

How to wrap your hands for Muay Thai (beginner guide)
Your hand wraps are your first layer of protection for your hands.
If you’re new to Muay Thai, learning to wrap your hands properly will:
👉🏽Protect your knuckles
👉🏽Support your wrists
👉🏽Help you punch with confidence
👉🏽Extend the life of your gloves
In this video, we walk you through the step-by-step basics so you can wrap your hands the right way before class.
Take your time.
Smooth and snug beats fast and messy every time.
Once you’ve mastered the basics, we’ll show you how to level up your wrap for more advanced training and sparring.
Save this for your next training session and send it to a teammate who’s still guessing their way through hand wraps.
See you in the mats. 🥊

Shoutout to the Women in Muay Thai. 👊
The ones walking into gyms full of men not knowing anyone.
The ones nervous before class but showing up anyway.
The ones learning to take up space, hitting pads harder in each session, and trusting themselves more and more over time.
Majority of women start Muay Thai feeling intimidated while never having done a sport in their life but end up discovering a version of themselves they didn’t know existed.
Sometimes confidence starts with just not backing down from yourself anymore.
See you on the mats 💎
There’s something about Saturday morning Muay Thai class that hits different.
Maybe it’s because nobody’s really fully awake yet.
Maybe it’s because the week finally slows down for a second and we all get to catch a breath.
People walk in carrying all kinds of things with them from the week — stress, overthinking, long work days, heavy minds, too little sleep or maybe just a needing a little space to fully move.
Then class starts.
The combinations pull your attention back into your body.
The sound of pads cracking fills the room.
You get to stop thinking about your phone, your inbox, your problems, your plans for later.
Between rounds — Quick conversations. A few laughs. And maybe a few “non-offensive” dad jokes by Tony. 🫠
Then it’s right back to work when the timer goes off again.
It’s one of those classes that quickly becomes a highlight of the week.
A healthy mix of communing, cardio, and questioning your life choices during 100 Kicks.
We always look forward to the vibes of a good Saturday morning Muay Thai session.
See you on the mats 💎

We love a good Muay Thai love story… ❤️
Some people come to Diamond looking for a workout.
Most come to learn Muay Thai.
And the. sometimes… they end up finding their person too. 🥳
Madison and Jack met through training at Diamond, and over time built something far beyond the gym walls.
What started as showing up to the same classes, chatting and training together slowly turned into something more — and now they’re engaged. 💍
When asked why they chose Diamond for training, they spoke about the structure, the coaches, the community, and the environment that made them both feel comfortable from day one.
We’re grateful to have been a small part of their story — and even more grateful to see the friendships, relationships, and community connections that grow here every day.
Really appreciate you both sharing your story with us. ❤️
Big congrats again, Madison & Jack. 💍
Nobody moves in their first Muay Thai class well. Nobody!
You’re going to get humbled. You’re going to get confused. You might even get mad. Or maybe you’ll giggle with the first hit of a pad.
You’re going to wander home wondering what the hell you got yourself into.
And then you’re going to come back. Because that’s just what happens. When you want to learn something new.
The progress is real — but it’s sneaky. It doesn’t show up in a week. It won’t announce itself.
You just wake up one day and realise you’re not surviving the class anymore. You’re actually doing this thing called Muay Thai a little bit better.
And if you’re not paying attention, you’ll miss it entirely. And most people quit right before things start to feel moderately good.
So reminder — set some goals, hold yourself to a standard even if it feels unattainable… oh and don’t let patio season become an excuse to win every session this season. 👀
The process is messy and that’s kind of the point. And we wouldn’t have it any other way. 💎
See you on the mats. 🥊

When Coach Raph and Coach Steve get a 5 minute break… 👀
“His teep is telegraphing a mile away.”
“I know… and don’t get me started on that kick.”
“This is character building.”
“Did he even eat breakfast today, his punches are moving at snail speed?”
“…We’ll get there.” 😂
Sound familiar?
Nobody knows what they’re actually saying on the sidelines — and honestly, let’s keep it that way 🤫😈
Drop a 💬 with what you think they’re saying about YOUR Muay Thai…
They see you out there. They’re always watching. 👁️👁️
All jokes aside — if you have questions about your technique or anything on the mats, never be intimidated to ask - we are always here for it.
See you on the mats. 💎
