Had a visitor just outside the workshop today ☺️ Two of them come by every now and then but it appears they're becoming a little tamer

Voila. Done. Might remove the rubber feet on the lower printer to allow a little more height at the top for changing filament. Also going to replace the Bowden tube so I can side mount filament. Might even mount something to the wall for filament spools.
Now onto the next task 🤔
Sun is shining and it's a beautiful day for finishing off some shelving. Only burning it a little to tighten the grain. Then it's sealed with a wood glue & water mix. Left to dry and finished up with a mineral oil & wax . Not in the slightest bit needed ....but it keeps me busy.
Next up couple of cuts and onto fitting and moving the next printer onto it 💪🏼
Welcoming in a 3 day weekend....background music queued, Westmalle flowing and food gently simmering away whilst filling the room with some wonderful aroma.
Managed to get another shelf prepped for the workshop after work leaving just one to go (tomorrows task) so time to enjoy a well earned beer. Maybe two....

About time I managed to find a use for this rough plywood sheet. Originally it came with some other ply as protection from damage......thought it was too good to cut up and throw away.
Also managed to gradually clear some space around the wood store. Few pallets to chop up/upcycle then I can get round to raising the IBC and fitting some shelving for firewood
Then the last thing will be putting down some stone over the black weed membrane. The same stone will form the path and open out onto the driveway.....in good time 😅🫣

Should have enough timber for the next shelf and certainly putting my scrap wood to good use too. Gave the rough ply sheet a sand down, glued edges to seal it then lightly burnt the surface, sanded and waxed...just for fun 🙃
Tested the shelf was structural before putting the printer on it. One more to go 👌🏼

Refreshments during the work whilst I'm putting up a shelving unit for some printers etc in the workshop. Music on, sun shining and the cold beer is....not bad. Tis a good day 👌🏼
