I’ve had the opportunity to work closely with the telecom sales company Axe Elite over the past few months—and it’s been an incredible experience. Recognized as one of the Inc. 5000 fastest-growing companies in the country and featured by the likes of Forbes and other publications for both its growth and workplace culture, Axe Elite is a company that’s truly making waves. At the center of it all is CEO and founder Albert Shakhnazarov, whose story defines resilience and the American dream. Born in a refugee camp in Russia, his family fled political persecution in Azerbaijan before being sponsored to come to the United States. Through relentless hard work, determination, and grit, he built Axe Elite from the ground up. Albert brought me in to create a high-energy intro video for an upcoming awards ceremony and speaking engagements. Working alongside his team, we pulled together archival footage, interviews, podcasts, and original content I filmed recently to craft something that captures his drive, leadership, and the respect he’s earned from his team. Today I get to celebrate my 16th anniversary with Stacey - my best friend, the most incredible wife, and an amazing mom to our two boys. Every year I film weddings, I’m reminded how rare and special it is to find someone who chooses you every single day. What an incredible day celebrating Allie and Ryan at the beautiful Ravel Hotel in Long Island City, New York. Their rooftop ceremony overlooking the city skyline was something truly special — the kind of moment you can feel even through the screen. One of the most memorable parts of the day was Allie’s emotional first look with her dad — a super sweet moment that had me almost in tears! This one was extra meaningful for me, too. I had the honor of filming Allie’s sister Jenna's wedding, and getting to reconnect with their family reminded me why I love what I do. 🎥✨ A Personal Ask from Me ✨🎥 This one’s from my heart. As many of you know, my son Mac absolutely loves baseball. He’s played since he was 4 and has always played above his age. He loves it so much that we created a team made of his friends called the CT Sandlot Sluggers that’s heading to Cooperstown Dreams Park in August of 2026 — a once-in-a-lifetime experience for these kids where they will play in a week long tournament with 103 other teams and eat, sleep and live baseball. They will be staying on site in bunks with their team and coaches, participating in contests and having the time of their lives, just miles from the baseball hall of fame where they all dream of being a part of one day. This team is not affiliated with any travel program, this was legitimately put together just for this tournament.🏟⚾️ A little more on Mac - he’s a first baseman and although he’s a small kid he makes it seem like he’s 6 feet tall on the base - nothing gets by him. He’s also a dangerous lefty pitcher who already has 2 no hitters and several one hitters under his belt. Hes a middle of the lineup hitter who’s a threat every time he’s up. This fall as an 11 year old he played 13u on the big field and did great (big field growing pains and all). He has helped his little league All-Star team win back-to-back district championships, going for the 3peat this summer, and now he’s chasing an another dream, playing in Cooperstown - but getting there comes with big expenses and Mac and his team could really use your help. Celebrating the beautiful wedding of Rebecca & Brendan at the charming Groton Long Point Yacht Club! This cute, beachy coastal town holds such special meaning for both Rebecca and Brendan. Rebecca's family, through several generations, owns the home where they got ready, just steps away from their beautiful beach ceremony. The weather looked dicey with wind and rain, and we weren’t sure the beach ceremony—so meaningful to the couple—would happen. But miraculously, almost to the minute, the skies calmed, and the ceremony went on outside as planned, almost like there was an energy in the universe saying these two belong together and they will get the day they wanted and so much deserved! It was absolutely breathtaking! Following the ceremony, the couple and their wonderful families and friends danced the night away thanks to the always excellent Silver Arrow Band. Huge thanks to Jay, Shari and Indiana of Dreamscape Studio Photography for capturing every moment so perfectly – as always, they were fantastic to work with! A little self heartwarming highlight: our dear friend, Bruce, who retired from being a wedding photographer a few years ago, was a guest, and his adorable grandson stole the show as the ring bearer. Now that wedding season has wrapped, it's finally time to catch up on some long over due posts, starting with Lauren and Alex!
