I'm starting to get out and find new (to me) areas near Tucson. This spot is about an hour from my house. Hiked to Seven Falls a couple weeks ago as well. Great spot. Tanque Verde Falls needs to happen soon too. Waterfalls, y'all.

Here is a short star trail taken at Mooney Falls, Havasupai last April. Our group camped near the edge of this waterfall, letting the dull roar lull us to sleep each night. Truly an amazing location

Big fat Milky Way core action. Taken at 9000 feet in the astonishingly beautiful White Mountains of Arizona. In the absence of the moon and any trace of light pollution, the Milky Way is visible to the naked eye, to the point that it can be distracting. It fills me with wonder and contentment when I am able to experience moments like this, exposed to the vastness of the cosmos.
