Boob Sweat Records and DMD Records Ltd are joining forces to host an intentional online gathering for women producing music, or interested in doing so.Â
This will be a relaxed, moderated session where everyone is invited to unmute. Introduce yourself, share your work, talk through challenges and breakthroughs of your production journey, and build real peer connections.
We’ll be joined on the evening by two very special guests:
Arielle Free — BBC Radio 1 DJ, music producer and leading figure-head in the Global Dance Scene. She founded Free Your Mind six years ago, a record label and club night and platform that champions new talent. She’ll share her experience navigating the industry as an artist, a broadcaster and label owner.
Charlotte de Vega — General Manager of Material Music, overseeing labels including Future Disco, Dansu Discs, Stress Records, Needwant and Pressure. Her role spans publishing, contracts, licensing, sync and new business, helping artists and catalogues grow across recordings, publishing and media. She will discuss how labels approach signing music and how producers can build long-term, sustainable careers.
It’s no secret that it easy for women to cut through in music production in the current climate, so this is a moment to share and learn from peers and experts.Â
The event is free to attend and open to all producers who identify as minority gender.

This area of Glastonbury is kind of important, here’s why 🎪
The festival was never known for electronic music, in fact founder Michael Eavis actually tried to keep dance music away, before having his mind changed by a performance done by Orbital in 1994, which changed the organisers views on this culture and led to the introduction of the dance tent.
While much of the dance programming is concentrated in the SE Corner, @sanremoglasto is in an isolated spot on the other side of the festival ground, next to Silver Hays. While programming is a complex topic for Glastonbury, spreading the zones is one way of managing this demand.
