Saying this experience had many full circle moments is an understatement. There are too many to account for but here are a few!
Like many of us,
@israelhoughton ās music influenced who I am as a musician today. To even play a tiny part of the sonic pallet of this incredible legacy is beyond me. Outside of the coritos I learned as a kid, Friend of God was the first song I ever truly learned on bass. So now, to be able to play those songs with the man himself and not only that, but to also be apart of the legacy of live recordings that have influenced generations, is something I will carry for the rest of my life.
I got to share the stage with my cousin
@unifiedsoundmusic which was completely iconic. Being ten years apart, Joey has always been the person I wanted to be when I was growing up. From touring, producing and being an incredible family man, Joey, youāve been the perfect example for me to see what being faithful to your mission and obedient to Godās word can look like. Iām insanely blessed to not only call you a cousin, but a mentor and friend. Love you bro!
Crazy to think that
@aaronmosesofficial and I made an arrangement years ago for āNadie Cómo Tuā for a whole other event that fell through. It will now be on a live record that will live forever. Partnered with moments of my brother
@jadencbaker arrangement of the song, this will be unreal.
All this to say, God is faithful. He knows every step you take before you take them and sometimes decisions you took throughout life all meet at the same time and place. For me, it was in Puerto Rico on April 3rd 2026.
This day felt like a perfect bookmark to life thus far.
Iāve already started on living in the āwhatās nextā part of life and Iāll say it here first, itās beyond what I could ever imagine but I canāt dismiss and not celebrate what Godās already done.
Grateful.
