Festival of Lights Zagreb opens tomorrow — this year the visuals turn abstract, built around a modular eight-petal motif that is part-flower, part-scattered light ray. For @zagrebtourist

“Divlji rast / Wild Growth” is another book we designed from the MST series. The series is based on the idea of combining visual works with literary ones, with themes revolving around Zagreb’s neighbourhood of Trešnjevka. The book showcases collage work by Ana Kuzmanić exploring the relationship between native, non-native and invasive (plant) species found around Trešnjevka, while the text by Luka Bekavac is written as a docu-fiction about the exhibition that preceded the book. Authors: Ana Kuzmanić & Luka Bekavac Editor: Ana Kutleša Design: Zoran Đukić @djkch_ & Hrvoje Živčić @hrvoje_zivcic Published by: BLOK @blok_kolektiv Typefaces: Delegate by @shiva_n_ Terza by @greggazdowicz published by @commercialtype Photos by: @ninetofivestudio

“Jadrankin prvi život”, a book we designed, got selected by @nsk_zagreb and @hdd_hrvatskodizajnerskodrustvo as one of the 12 most beautiful books published in Croatia in 2025. It is a book about Jadranka Klekar, about the then worker’s neighborhood of Trešnjevka, about Hotel Laguna and it’s employees shared struggle, now nearly forgotten. The story is told through a poem by Olja Savičević Ivančević and drawings by Božena Končić Badurina. The book will be exhibited in Leipzig’s Best Book Design from all over the World and Book Art International in Frankfurt after which it goes to the German Book and Type Museum. Big thanks and congrats to everyone included! We are delighted to be part of the Shanghai Design Biennale @sgd_biennale with our posters for the Dubrovnik Summer Festival @dubrovnikfestival and the Zagreb Festival of Lights @zagrebfestivaloflights Topoposter is an invitation-only exhibition featuring 153 designers from 28 different countries, all of whom are active at the forefront of the field. The curatorial team selected “poster”—one of the most representative design categories in the global field of graphic design and a medium of visual aesthetics and cultural communication that is most closely connected to the general public—as the entry point. Thank you @sgd_biennale for the opportunity

76th Dubrovnik Summer Festival opens tonight💥💥💥 This year’s visual identity centers on a triptych of posters featuring the opening, emblematic words of Gundulić’s Hymn to Liberty – o fair, o dear, o sweet*. Removed from their original context, these words take on layered meanings. Reflecting the festival’s program, the posters question the social narratives that have shaped women’s identities and roles. While Gundulić allegorically explores political freedom, the posters shift focus to personal – primarily female – freedom, placing it at the heart of the Festival’s identity. *In Dubravka, the word fair appears 57 times, dear 29, and sweet 21. 📷 @dubrovnikfestival @k_u_n_a

✏️ @domichewa @jakobinac 🎨 @djkch_ 📸 @domichewa
