Whitney Weiss returns to Major after her 2023 Too Hot EP, which won our hearts and plenty of dance-floors. The two original tracks on Scusi tap into the irreverent fun of the ’90s club era, packed with references that drop you right back into that world. On the remix, two of the Queens of the Majorverse — Nita Aviance & Mike Servito — push the cheeky meter to maximum with sharp turns and unexpected moments throughout. (The other two Queens, Will Automagic and Justin Cudmore, fully co-sign from their thrones.) We’re very happy to welcome Whitney back as our 40th release and we are honored to be able to continue to share all of these brilliant tunes with everyone over the years. I am extremely fucking grateful for a harvest season year; I know they can’t all be like these. The Salento-born, Milan-based multitasker channels hot summer nights DJing seaside on this breezy, sexy track rooted in a love of bawdy disco. A sparse percussion-forward arrangement means room for Protopapa’s seductive baritone and the soaring melodies of David Blank (@davidblankofficial ), whose voice makes hits.
