Hey ya'll got some good and great news! Firstly, this coming Saturday we will be celebrating Ambient Mafia's 25th anniversary! for 12 hrs straight! Tons of DJs including me! Potluck & BYO Whatevs! I have been off and on looking for a new spot in Sf for over a year now and recently kicked that search into to high gear for the last couple weeks. After an almost full time job of checking out units throughout the city today I was devastated to hear that I was turned down for the most beautiful perfect spot in Lower Haight because I don’t have a regular 9-5 job and all they would look at are my 2 most recent pay stubs. It’s the slow season right now which is why I can look in the first place, I attached my tax return from 2023 but that’s not what the company/corporation/conglomerate uses to determine eligibility. Of course the place went to some young white tech bro that works at Apple. The only reason I know this at all is the building manager who showed was kind enough to give me a call today. I feel enraged and depressed and like giving up. I don’t fit into an easy equation.. FML
Spent a good week or two working on this when I had some free time. Pattern is a pdf from Etsy, foam base with creepy paper on top and gold leaf on that. Alex helped me find the perfect eyes in his stash of random leds #evilgeniuslabs I played Anubis and weighed souls against my feather or else Ammit would eat you into non existence. #Ammit #anubis
