@monsieurmadam (they/them) is the artistic project of Montréal-based multidisciplinary artist and sound architect Al Haytame Farsane. Their practice merges experimental electronic music, ritual vocal work, and diasporic memory, moving fluidly between club culture and sound art. Working at the threshold of ritual and rave, they use the voice as both personal archive and sonic force. Through field recordings, distorted harmonies, and textured rhythmic structures, their work explores migration, queerness, belonging, and the emotional blur between human and machine.
Beyond their solo practice, Monsieurmadam is the founder and curator of
@aft3rwe4r.live , a platform and monthly event series amplifying diasporic and queer voices within Montréal’s experimental music ecosystem. Through performance, curation, and community-building, they expand live electronic music as a site of ritual, storytelling, and collective experience. 💙
@jamvvis is a UK-born, Montreal-based producer and DJ blending the raw energy of jungle and drum & bass with experimental electronic and garage influences. Drawing inspiration from pioneers like Goldie, LTJ Bukem, and London Elektricity, he creates atmospheric yet hard-hitting soundscapes that bridge UK heritage with Montreal’s underground club culture. With appearances on Boiler Room, Festivals and a growing catalog of forward-thinking releases, jamvvis is carving out a global reputation as one of the new voices pushing jungle and electronic music into the future. 💚
