Bob Power is quite literally the reason you love hip-hop. So sad to hear of his passing. Here is my story :: I was supposed to interview him once as part of the @wearedelasoul@frank151 chapter & I got sick. Always wished we would meet at some point. Here with @twincharlie and @jamelshabazz in 2009 @powerhousebooks I was running around with @djsynapse and he pushed for us to go to this event there. Only later to find that Charlie and Jamel were working together on a film. I’m not sure who else what there shooting but I understood the assignment. I had met Charlie already by chance printing photos in Tribeca at this hourly rental color print shop.
