I found a dramatic ass Scorpio playlist I made in 2023 to help me through some rough times and whewwwww yall ain’t ready
I tried to record YouTube sets so many times …. “Chill r&b”, “party mix”, “old school”, “rnb house” and so on and so forth.
I kept deleting my footage because over and over again my ADHD took over as it always does and I kept switching eras, pace, going from chill then amping up to reggaeton party tracks 😂. I got discouraged so I just put it on pause for awhile.
This weekend, some ladies approached me just to tell me they had my SoundCloud mixes playing while they were getting ready for the event I was spinning at and they loved them.
Those SoundCloud mixes are just times I happened to remember to press record while I was in front of real humans vibing, flowing with their emotions and my own … and then it hit me-
My people love me BECAUSE of my versatility and randomness. They love hearing a 2026 track and then a 2001 track mixed into it. I was WAY overthinking this whole YouTube thing.
So I decided something today. I’m just going to upload an energy, a situation, an experience on my channel. First one being dedicated to those ladies: a “Getting Ready Mix”.
You can expect ebbs and flows of rnb, rap, hip hop, afro, and reggaeton from ALL eras. Because frankly that’s just who I am and I don’t wanna be anything or anyone else but myself. and I hope that that’s exactly why you’re here 🙏🏽🤍
